● building on the edge

I'm Sean — engineer, builder, and co-founder. I like the edge of the stack: the small interactions, the rendering tricks, and the infrastructure that makes them feel instant.

What I'm working on

I'm the co-founder and CTO of NPC Labs, where we're building a crypto agent backed by decentralized inference — putting a capable, crypto-native agent on top of a network where the model serving itself is distributed rather than locked to one provider.

Day to day that means thinking about latency, agent reliability, and the UX that hides all the chain and inference machinery underneath. The hard part isn't the crypto — it's making it disappear.

Before this

I was an engineering leader at Coinbase, and spent time building at a Solana startup before that. A lot of what I care about — performance, polish, and getting out of the user's way — comes from those years shipping consumer-scale crypto products.

This site

seangeng.com is my workshop. It's where I publish the frontend components, rendering experiments, and short writeups I'd otherwise keep in a scratch folder — the good parts, left out in the open for anyone to steal. Start with the components or the writing.
